the staff were helpful with directions.
the room was small and rather stuffy. the air conditioning was very loud, (it was difficult to sleep). the bathroom fixtures felt old, and the tub lacked a stopper, so i could not take a bath.

the hotel staff were helpful! i received a free upgrade to a room with a view. the front desk also recommended an excellent day tour that i enjoyed SO MUCH!!! the breakfast was included and very nice, a total bonus.
the shower fitting was too high for me to reach. it was a minor inconvenience, but still something to consider. i wish they would fix it soon!

The location is excellent. It is in a vibrant neighborhood!!! lots of restaurants and shopping opportunities are right outside the hotel doors. the rossio train station is nearby. i found a car rental agency in walking distance as well.
